Join the Green Lancaster team's ECOWild Wild Wellbeing Session. In this session we will go on a nature walk, press wildflowers and make fresh herbal teas.

Our weekly ECOWild sessions provide our community with the opportunity to immerse themselves in the natural world through wildlife observation and mindful activities. The project is underpinned by the 5 ways to wellbeing – enabling participants to connect, be active, take notice, learn and give – and the 5 pathways to nature connection to help them nurture their connection to nature, through contact, beauty, meaning, emotion and compassion.

Please ensure you are wearing appropriate outdoor footwear and clothing. If you would like to, you will be able to borrow waterproofs and wellies on the day from the ECOHub. Gloves and equipment will be provided. You are welcome to bring snacks and a drink with you as we usually have an al fresco tea-break during the session. We will provide tea for all participants.

Please contact us on green@lancaster.ac.uk in advance of the session if you have reduced mobility or accessibility requirements.

ECOWild sessions take place during term time and include elements such as woodland and wildflower meadow maintenance, biodiversity monitoring and nature immersion.
